Description

The new gymnasium is conceived as a pavilion in a garden. The building is discreetly set in the site. The expansive roof is planted and sits low. Its horizontal profile evokes lightness and contains the majority of the building’s public spaces.
 

An open passageway allows visual relationships between all program entities, and makes this central space alive by offering a sequence of changing views from the basement, stairs and floor to exterior grounds. The staircases in the hall in light metal work preserve its transparency.
